IGNITION

A primer

Goal

Outscore the AI over 30 moves. Each core on the board is worth 2 points; chain reactions score more.

Placing & pushing

Click any empty cell to place your core. If your placement is adjacent to the AI's last-placed core (including diagonally), it pushes that core one step away. Push a core into a void and it's consumed.

Chains

Nova — get 3 of your cores in a row (any direction, wraps edges). +15, kills 1 nearest enemy, those 3 cores ignite ✦ and scatter randomly.

Quasar — once you have 3+ ✦ marks anywhere, your next cold 3-in-a-row triggers Quasar. +30, kills 2 nearest, new cores ignite ✦ and scatter.

Singularity — when your hot marks total 9+, the next 3-line wipes the opponent completely. +50.

The voids

Black holes drift around the board. If one lands on a core, that core is consumed. Plan around their movement.

Threat glow

Cells that glow red/purple/white mean placing there would trigger a chain — red for nova, purple when quasar is armed, white when singularity is armed.
